Why n8n and not Zapier/Make?
Data protection and depth. Zapier often runs on US servers (GDPR issue) and becomes expensive with high volumes ("pay-per-task"). We can host n8n on German servers (self-hosting) and scale complex logic without additional costs.
Can older systems (on-premise) also be connected?
Yes. Since n8n can run on your own network, we can also securely connect local databases or legacy systems to modern cloud tools without incurring firewall risks.
